Seyisi Primary
The school has been holistically supported by Dedisa Peaking Power. Some of the interventions include:
Renovations: Electrification and plumbing of Grade R classroom at the school.
Paving: During rainy seasons, gaining entry into the school seemed to be a challenge
for the school children at Seyisi Primary School. The entrance would get flooded and muddy.
The company contributed towards the paving of the school entrance area which is also being
used as a play area by the learners.
Soccer and Netball Kits: Seyisi Primary was amongst the 3 primary school to receive soccer and netball kits. The 2 other schools were BJ Myanda and Charles Duna.
Advance Mobile Science Cart
The lack of infrastructure is possibly the biggest problem facing the majority of schools in South Africa. To contribute towards sustainable interventions an advanced mobile science cart containing chemicals,
a laptop and projector was donated to Soqhayisa Secondary School.
The mobile lab incorporates both technology and science equipment needed to do experiments covered in the high school science syllabus,
bringing physics, chemistry and life sciences to life.
